Literacy Council Honored with Caring Community Award

On October 16, AACLC partner, Seeds 4 Success, honored the Literacy Council with a Caring Community award at its annual Cocktails for a Cause event. The Council was recognized for our work supporting the educational needs of adults in Anne Arundel County.

Our partnership with Seeds 4 Success has enabled Spanish-speaking caregivers to participate in a conversation club, practicing English with peers in a safe and inclusive environment. AACLC students are welcome to attend the conversation group. Please find more information in this post.
