Look how far your donation will go!

All our tutors are unpaid volunteers, so even small contributions make a big impact:

  • $10 will pay for a student workbook.
  • $15 covers a private intake assessment for a new student.
  • $25 will pay for a teacher manual or  a half-day tutor training session.
  • $40 provides reading materials and workbooks for a new or continuing student.
  • $100 will underwrite the cost of all reading materials and supplies needed by one student for one year.
  • $500 will buy a complete set of math materials for 10 students and their tutors.
  • $1,000 covers introductory training for fifteen new tutors.

Donate to our Endowed Fund Through the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC)

Just as you can make a difference in our work now — you can continue to make a difference for generations to come by contributing to the Literacy Council’s Endowed Fund. Established in 2023, this fund was created in partnership with the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County to further and sustain the mission of the Anne Arundel County Literacy Council.

Gifts to the Literacy Council Community Foundation Endowed Fund are invested over time. Earnings from the fund are used to support our programs and operations. Learn more or donate.
